Happy 8th Birthday Baby!!

Where does the time go? Yesterday was my sweet, loving, sensitive, quirky, inquisitive oldest son's 8th birthday. My heart aches to think of how fast these days and years are flying by. I'm am trying to cherish every moment I have as a mom to my wonderful boys! Thank you God for my miracle! I love you Jackson Scott!

37 Weeks!

So I've had several requests for learning how to make the baby wreath I put together for Hudson's hospital door.  I didn't take any pictures in the before and during stage I am posting the video I used to teach myself! Once you get the hang of poofing and turning, it is really up to you as far as how to do it and what to add to embellish!!  I used a CHEAP, clearance, Christmas wreath, not the one in the video, and it worked great.  Just as long as you have some wire branches to wrap the wide mesh ribbon with.  I also get my mesh ribbon at Hobby Lobby.  I go twice around the wreath mainly to cover the green christmas garland look.  I start on the outside and wrap a little tighter than the video shows and then keep going around a second time on the inside to fill in! I'll try to get a few more pictures posted of wreaths I've done too! Just started over Christmas and they made GREAT and inexpensive gifts!!!!

update

Just got back from the doctor! My blood pressure looks great, no big weight gain with the swelling, heartbeat perfect, I'm 1 cm dialated and having irregular contractions.  Taking one day at a time and thanking God for our amazing miracle!I'll go for an ultrasound on Wednesday for size...I'm measuring a week ahead but I did with both other boys too.  Guess I'll try to get my bag packed this weekend for a just in case early delivery...otherwise, I'll hang on as long as I can as I'm only 36 1/2 weeks and need Hudson to cook just a little longer!!

I'm getting there!!!! Trying to work on to do list! Started taxes today. Pack'n'play is ready to go! Cleaning out closets still!!! Ordering some things off etsy and trying to get finishing touches for nursery! Ordered curtains yesterday. Whew!

Things to do before Hudson arrives! updated!

My brain is swirling with all the things I have to do before our precious baby boy #3 arrives so I thought I'd start
A list!!!

I got one thing checked off last night when made a wreath to go on his door at the hospital. So cute!

Ok so here goes....

Wash baby clothes

Pack hospital bag, one for me and one for baby. Done

Finish cleaning and organizing Hudson's closet.

Put pack'n'play together. Done

Get big bro shirts made.

Clean out playroom with big
Boys.

Plan some meals for after baby.

Delegate for field trips and school activities that need parent chaperon's the month of march. Done (thanks to grandpa for volunteering to go and change work schedule!)

Secure promotion with work from home job so I can take a deep breath and time relaxing with new baby!!! (still up in the air, but looking good!)

Order a few things for gallery wall in the nursery.

Take a few belly shots with boys in them even though I am huge and miserable. ( I know I'll regret it

Back ordered dresser for nursery. (shipped on or before 3/20 so we still don't have a dresser/changing table!)

Mardi Gras fun

I survived a few parades. We have had great weather! I braved our annual night parade last night and it was fun.  I stayed on the golf cart and chilled while the boys caught beads.  They had a great time!

35 weeks and not thrilled, WIWW

BP is up, feeling crappy, headache and tired, so swollen, but this little guy reminds me everyday that I am blessed with the miracle of being his mommy!!! Please pray that I can slow down and make it a few more weeks so he can get fat and healthy!!!  This is now officially the only pair of jeans I can wear and I refuse to buy more maternity stuff, and my shirts are stretched to capacity!!  I've been throwing a cardigan over this to cover my rear and hopefully people can focus on the jewelry and not the large, round, everything else!!

 

Valentine's Day was good and my hubby was so sweet to get me a card and necklace!!  He is anti commercialized express your love day!  Anyway, he was very thoughtful and it helped me feel better in "my delicate state"
