Laundry room redo regret #1... Waiting 5 years to add color to this room!!!!
I wish I had a better before, before picture with laundry piled sky high, books, papers, cups, and everything else unloaded from the car that got put on the dryer. Backpacks and swim bags on the floor to trip over. It really was a room that I hated and avoided. Messy and stressful and the way we enter the house everyday as we come in from the garage.
The paint was on sale at the home depot! I picked the most amazing yellow, green called Sour Lime! The color makes me smile!
I wish the pictures did the color justice...just doesn't
(p.s. the color was from lowes, and was color matched at home depot)
my awesome mom came over and did all of the cutting in at the ceiling and around the doors and baseboards! thanks mom, you rock!!!!
tada...a transformation in progress! i love it!
finding a few accessories like the ironing board cover has been fun. still needs some tweeking.
this sign was half off at hobby lobby and ended up being $3.99. The ribbon was on sale too so I grabbed a role and tied it to the hangers to hang on a shelf.
This amazing peg board was a gift and got lost in the room before! The bulletin board is for school calendars and is my attempt at being organized as I tend to forget important date for the boys.
And there you have it, 2 hours, a gallon of paint, an awesome mom, and a new laundry room!! It's so happy and cheery now. I have to admit the laundry has been staying done now!!!
Now onto another project...no more procrastinating!
