a few pictures before he comes...

My twin sister came over this afternoon and snapped a few pictures of me and the boys.  I've all but avoided the camera this pregnancy, other than some iphone pics to document the belly.  I know with this being out last pregnancy that I would regret not having a few on a real camera to look back at, no matter how huge and terrible I feel right now.  I am eagerly and anxiously awaiting Tuesday and can't believe he's almost here!!!

Zephyrs Baseball!

It's hot! Time for baseball! We took the boys to a zephyers baseball game last week before it got too hot and they LOVED it! I didn't love the part where my kids almost got hit with a crazy fast foul ball that came inches from them and hit the seat in front of us! Scary! But we survived and had a blast (with grandpa too!)  Logan made All-Stars so we have been to practice today and tomorrow and have a tournament this weekend! He is excited!! Happy Wednesday!!

Please time...stand still, or at least slow down a little bit!!

Logan had an awesome year with an amazing teacher! We will miss you!! (but will still say hi next year when we pass your classroom in the hall on the way to kindergarten!!)

sick day...

Logan has a croupy cough so I kept him home from school.  We are watching Tom and Jerry.  He asked me to finish his baby book, which I will try!  3 rooms cleaned so far while my angel lays on the couch with a cough that won't quit.  He said "thanks for making this room sparkly clean!" Gotta love my Logan.  He is my sweetheart, my mama's boy.  I will treasure these "sick days" whenever they come, even if it means I have to deal with a sick kid.  I love the hugs, the snuggles, the slowing down to enjoy each other! sigh. 

my baby goes to school...

My baby started Pre-K today, sniff, sniff.

He wasn't quite sure about going but had a fabulous day!

Here he is walking into school, still a little unsure...

He had just asked me, "But mom? what days do I get to stay home with you?"

That broke my heart.  His program is 5 days a week (half day on monday) and he is so used to being home with me.  I missed him today but I know he will have so much fun meeting new friends!

settling in...

We are coming to the end of our second week of 1st grade for this guy.  He LOVES it! His teacher is wonderful and he is getting settled into a routine.  (mommy is getting used to getting up, dressed, out the door for car line in a timely manner! :)  God has blessed us with an amazing child who strives at doing his best.  I'm looking forward to all his discovery and wonder he will experience this year as a big first grader.

His little brother on the other hand is not so keen on starting preschool.  He will start pre-k next week and is still protesting.  I know it will be good for him but he is such a mama's boy.  He's happy just to hang out with me all day.  We have had some good time together while big brother is at school and he gets one on one time.  Wish us luck as he adjusts to 5 days a week at school!

I don't know why God decided to bless me with these 2 miracles, but I thank him countless times everyday!

GOLF CAMP

so what do you do if you want your kids to pay their way through college on a sports scholarship?? i don't know but maybe signing them up for golf camp at age 4 will help!! :)

(of course it had to be 99 degrees here in Louisiana this week! poor baby is so hot but having a blast!)

is it possible that God chose to bless me with children?

is it possible that those 2 boys are actual miracles?

is it possible that i could have more love that ever imagined for my 2 miracles?

is it possible that it is the best job in the whole world to be their mommy?

is it possible that it has already been 6 years since my life changed forever with the birth of our 1st child?

is it possible to experience so much joy and fulfillment that i cry with life's little victories?

is it possible that my baby boy is four and a half and i've only just blinked?

is it possible that all my decisions revolve around those two little blessings?

is it possible that i really have BOYS?

is it possible that i actually love having boys and all the dirt and bugs that go along with it?

is it possible that these days we are walking out are just steps taken in a journey that just keeps getting better and better?

wow. yes. it IS possible.  it is amazing. it is my life as a mom and i love it!

busy, busy, busy

the last 3 weeks have been crazy, busy but in a wonderful way! swim team and t-ball are in full force and every night of the week we have either one, or both between the two boys.  they are staying active and enjoying being outside with fabulous spring weather we've been having.  here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.
