Wow!! Life is flying by! I have this crazy one year old that I can't take my eyes off of for a second!! Here's a bit if what we've been up to!!

Insta Friday catch up!

We've started settling into a new normal which for now is quite chaotic. The house is a mess and I'm not sleeping ( Hudson isn't sleeping) but I love my family and wouldn't change it for the whole world. We made it to church for Easter, survived a family crawfish boil, and even went to a nice restaurant all without incident! I'm still feeling blah and yucky with all this baby weight to lose but loving the spring weather an daily walks! Dad gave Hudson his first pumped bottle and he took it fine so I'll probably pump some more just for a little break in case I need to leave him with a bottle.

a few pictures before he comes...

My twin sister came over this afternoon and snapped a few pictures of me and the boys.  I've all but avoided the camera this pregnancy, other than some iphone pics to document the belly.  I know with this being out last pregnancy that I would regret not having a few on a real camera to look back at, no matter how huge and terrible I feel right now.  I am eagerly and anxiously awaiting Tuesday and can't believe he's almost here!!!

countdown!!!

I had my 38 week check up today.  My blood pressure was 156/88.  Have a headache that woke me up at 3 am it was so bad...so I'm being induced on Tuesday!!! The countdown has started to meet Hudson! So exciting and nerve racking all at the same time. We'll see if I make it through the weekend.  I already 3cm and having sporatic contractions so it may be sooner, but definately good to know that the end is near and Tuesday is the last possible day I will be pregnant!!!

10 Reasons it's time to have a baby!

1. Getting dressed this morning, I heard a rip...a really LOUD RIP!! yep, my favorite maternity jeans that I've worn every day for the last 4 month, finally gave way. :(


2. I've seriously considered consulting a tent maker for a new outfit.


3. My stretch marks have stretch marks.


4. I spend actual time contemplating how to make a rope and pulley system for helping me get in and out of the bath tub.


5. I can't see or reach my legs, much less shave them for my upcoming debut in stirrups. 


6. I neurotically obsess over Hudson's kick counts and movements (or lack thereof) as he is officially out of room and doesn't move as much.  I just want to hold him in my arms and know he's safe!


7. My shoulders and knees are now fat...it's time.


8. Eating and breathing have become nearly impossible to accomplish at the same time and I really would like to do both.


9. 39 weeks seems like an entire year...and almost is! I was pregnant last year all through baseball season, and now it's time for the new season, and I'm still pregnant!!!!


10. My body has just said, I'M DONE!!!!!

Sneak Peek into the Nursery

The nursery is coming together...not done yet though. I thought I'd post a few bad iPhone pics cause that's what I have the energy for. I still need more frames for the gallery wall that I have planned in my head. My dresser is on back order, and I have to hang things on the wall. But it is all working out nicely so far!

Things to do before Hudson arrives! updated!

My brain is swirling with all the things I have to do before our precious baby boy #3 arrives so I thought I'd start
A list!!!

I got one thing checked off last night when made a wreath to go on his door at the hospital. So cute!

Ok so here goes....

Wash baby clothes

Pack hospital bag, one for me and one for baby. Done

Finish cleaning and organizing Hudson's closet.

Put pack'n'play together. Done

Get big bro shirts made.

Clean out playroom with big
Boys.

Plan some meals for after baby.

Delegate for field trips and school activities that need parent chaperon's the month of march. Done (thanks to grandpa for volunteering to go and change work schedule!)

Secure promotion with work from home job so I can take a deep breath and time relaxing with new baby!!! (still up in the air, but looking good!)

Order a few things for gallery wall in the nursery.

Take a few belly shots with boys in them even though I am huge and miserable. ( I know I'll regret it
Later if i don't!) this is definitely LAST baby!

Check on status of
Back ordered dresser for nursery. (shipped on or before 3/20 so we still don't have a dresser/changing table!)

do taxes! 90% entered into Turbo Tax, still have to finish!
