Feeling huge and miserable. Zantac is helping the acid reflux...not sleeping and surprised at the number of Braxton-Hicks contractions already! The swelling is getting bad, especially at the end of the day. But boy am I excited to meet this little guy!!! I can't wait. We are on stand by for my little sis too! She is 37 weeks! So much fun to have more cousins grow up together!

32 weeks down!!! As I'm tempted to vent and complain about how miserable I am right now, I am reminded at this very moment by the kicks in my belly, that this pregnancy truly is a miracle and will all be worth it!! I knew it wasn't going to be easy, my last 2 weren't, and I'm older this time around. I just can't wait to hold this little bundle in my arms! I have so much to do still to get ready and just feel like laying in bed. Battling a terrible headache today and praying it doesn't turn into a migraine. Once again, I'm at a shortage for pictures because I"m not in the mood to be in front of the camera. I will try to get a picture this week!

I'm 31 weeks today. Doing well. So tired and my house is a mess, but that is life. Trying not to over do it too much after a very painful week last week. Nothing much has changed, no pics to post since my girth is kind of a sore subject! I have an appointment tomorrow. I really want to get the nursery done and am getting a few things here and there for Hudson. I just got this name pillow in the mail today and LOVE it!! It is perfect!! Wow! CRAZY week again...I ended up at the doctor yesterday...apparently Hudson decided to flip, head down, (which is great) except he is not laying on nerves and causing terrible pain in my lower stomach and down my legs...deep breath, it's all gonna be SO worth it!! 30 Weeks! and WIWW

So here I am, 30 weeks preggo and anxious to meet this little guy (who doesn't appear to be all that little!) This is exactly how I did my last 2 pregnancies, although, it appears I still baffle the masses with my girth. All the well intended comments on my girth are starting to wear on my psyche but it's all for a good cause and there really isn't much I can do about it but smile and say, no, not ready to head to the hospital yet! I have truly enjoyed the thumbs, flutters, and rolling over of this baby and cherish it to know that this is my last. My body seems to be breaking under the pressure of growing a baby and I am content in knowing God had 3 miracles for us!!! Not much as far as a WIWW post since I am running out of clothes. It is a daily moan and sigh to find something to put over this belly. I broke down and ordered 3 new things from Gap Maternity to try to get me through the next 8-9 weeks. Church clothes are now my only maternity jeans that fit and whatever sweater I can squeeze on over a tight maternity shirt. Laughing, coughing, and even breathing are becoming more difficult and almost humorous!

I have been working on the nursery and am SO excited how it's turning out! I'll post a sneak peak here but need to take some good pictures with my camera and not iphone!!

woohoo! Im headed out to our bunko christmas party! oh the stress about what to wear!!! here is what I came up with!!!

um, what am I going to do with this belly?????

squeezed my swollen feet into these boots that I found at Kohl's for $30!! Add a sweater (on this 70 degree night!) and I'm ready to go, except it's almost my bed time!! And did I mention I'm only 26 weeks??!!

Knuckles the elf has been flying to some crazy places at our house! The boys LOVED finding him in the freezer!

Week 26 has not been nice to me at all. The heartburn, migraines, abdominal muscle pain, and numb hands are all getting to me...I'm old I guess!! Not to mention how huge I am. It is everyday now that some one asks when I'm going to the hospital and I have to tell them I have 12 weeks to go!! Not cute! But I wouldn't trade it for the world. Baby Hudson is kicking up a storm and I can't wait to meet him!!!

19 Weeks...Good News and Bad News...

Good news!! I am halfway through the pregnancy!!! Bad news!!! I am only halfway through the pregnancy!

So I'm at the halfway point and feeling better and better, although fatter and fatter. I know it is all for a good cause and I should enjoy pregnancy, I'm trying. Just having some body image issues along with the joy of growing a baby! It is amazing to me that so many people are so different when carrying a baby in their belly! How can I look ready to deliver when other 19 week pregnant mamas can still wear their regular jeans? I don't get it!!!

So what are the highlights of this week?...here goes.

SLEEP: I am able to stay up until 9 now, not feeling quite as exhausted. Still wake up 3-4 times a night to pee.

BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: I've loved watching the boys be protective of me. Logan talks to the baby and rubs my belly. He is so sweet!

FOOD CRAVINGS: Mexican and ceasar salad with pickled beets.

GENDER: IT A BOY!!!!

MOVEMENT: was only feeling occasional flutters but today felt my first little thump! awesome!

WHAT I MISS: sleeping through the night and my size 8 jeans (just keeping it real!)

WHAT I LOOK FORWARD TO: meeting this little one!!

SYMPTOMS/NEW THINGS THIS WEEK: heartburn has already started, ugh...I go from nausea to heartburn. Day 6 without Zofran though!!!!

18 Weeks

Our Ultrasound went great! It is always so amazing to see 10 fingers and 10 toes, healthy baby moving all around! I was so nervous. I hadn't felt any flutters of movement all week so it was so nice to finally see my baby on ultrasound. Although I had that little bit of hope for a girl, I am thrilled that we will be having a third boy. It's what I already know and I up for it! The boys are excited that they will have a baby brother to teach baseball and video games. I am feeling pretty good. Tired a lot, still some headaches and nausea, but overall, pretty good. I've gained too much weight and just don't feel like doing anything about it right now. That is discouraging. I am excited to start tackling the nursery!! We don't have to paint the office now that we know it's a boy. We will leave it the cool orange that is already is and go with that. Maybe a jungle theme or something! Happy Wednesday!!

Yesterday was my birthday! I couldn't think of a better gift than shopping at the local Garden Spot and re-doing my yard for fall!!! Although, yesterday did consist of pedicures, lunch with mom, gramma, and sisters, and then out for dinner with my hubby and boys! I always find joy and peace in yardwork!! Call me crazy, it's my therapy. Hope you are having a great week!!

Been crazy this week...migraines, throwing up, hormonal...I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and will feel much better after hearing baby's heartbeat. Trying to wean off Zofran so throw up every morning but doing ok during the day after I get food in me. Spent an amazing day outside doing yard work but totally over did it...sore neck and crampy tonight. Lunch date tomorrow with my twin and family for our birthday! Really looking forward to my favorite place, Copeland's!!! Feeling little flutters this week and in awe of the miracle growing inside of me!

I've started getting some stuff out. I can never decide if I should start with fall and then switch to Halloween. I don't do much for Halloween so the pumpkins and leaves won. I'm so ready for some cooler weather. It was 89 and humid yesterday and I'm totally over it! Come on fall weather!!! Just a little peak at some stuff going on at the house yesterday!! A little at a time.

Here is my front foyer table!

It's amazing what $3 from Hobby Lobby can do! Last year clearance stuff to fill this cornicopia! (sp)?

I whipped up this arrangement for about $13! Love the feathers! Everything also from Hobby Lobby!

Then I moved on to sprucing up my mantel!! Love a good bargain. I found new vases and love the shape of them! $1.00 worth of clearance sticks and a new fall arrangement was born!

Love the colors of FALL!!!!

Moving on to outside!! This is the beginning of many things to come!!

That is the first of many pumpkins that will make an appearance. Just bought 1 for now! My sweet potato vine has never been happier and is kinda going crazy!

And what's fall without mums? It's still too hot really, but had to get one pot going! Will have many more in a few weeks!!

I'm having computer problems! AAHHH! I wanted to get a 14 week post up but will have to try this afternoon!

I have still had the morning sickness and no energy but my boys keep me on my toes!! I'm in pretty much all maternity clothes now. Looking forward to my next appt. in 2 weeks. Feeling huge already and I've tried to start walking again. I really wish I had the motivation to clean, organize, and figure out where this kiddo will sleep!! Our ultrasound is scheduled for mid october so I will keep you posted on baby boy or girl!!!

10 Years and going strong!

Happy Anniversary to my amazing husband of 10 years!!! I can't believe it! I have no idea where in the world the time has gone. We have laughed, cried, learned, loved, and shared so much over the years. I'm seriously in awe of all the wonderful things we've experienced together!!! Thank you for all you are and have been to me and our family. I love you more than words can say!!! Here's to a million more and a little trip down memory lane!!

Wow! What a difference 10 years makes!! It is truly amazing how much we have changed, grown, learned, moved, and loved in these 10 years of marriage. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with such an amazing person. God has mapped out a story and we are seeking Him always to stay on His path for our lives. It is going to have ups and downs (and already has) but we are blessed beyond measure and I look forward to many more happy anniversaries!!(and at least one more baby!) I love you!

12 Weeks

I can't believe how fast the days are going by and I'm already starting my second trimester!! Woohoo! It literally has been one day at a time. I have had some really good days this past week getting my energy back and feeling productive. Last night I was really sick when I tried to go without my Zofran, guess I won't do that again for awhile. But overall, I'm feeling blessed and the idea is starting to sink in that I am pregnant with miracle #3. I have a doctor's appointment this week and am hoping to hear the heartbeat on doppler! We've had a lazy, rainy weekend thanks to tropical storm Lee but it has been nice to relax with the family!!

I finally had to break down and get a few maternity things and that will be essential in the next week or so. I've had tons of cravings and still have to eat almost every 2 hours to keep the nausea at bay. I'm hoping to start back at the gym this week because boy has that already caught up to me. Already feeling HUGE and have such a long way to go!!

So I am going to have to break down and buy some dang maternity clothes. I'm growing by leaps and bounds and can't quite figure it out except that it's baby #3. I've had so many comments, good and bad this past week. I guess it's quite shocking to see such a bump and not be far enough along to know what I'm having. Oh will, such is life and there really isn't a whole heck of a lot I can do about it! I'm going on a week of no throwing up but am still taking my Zofran for all the nausea and dry heaving. Hopefully that will be over soon.

...I should have just cut a paper bag and worn that, it would have looked better that this dress, but oh well.

UGH, It has already happened. My clothes don't fit but I'm not yet ready for maternity! I'm having a hard time because I had recently lost 22 pounds and cleaned out my closet! Silly me, didn't know I would need some in-between clothes for this surprise pregnancy. So here is my go to outfit. My Express yoga banded pants that fold under my growing belly and banana republic t that stretches over it!! Of course, my signature, black and white, again. And as always, my volitile zebra flip flops that I wear with everything.

This is a picture of me and my little sister! She is on baby #3 surprise too! We are only 4 weeks apart and had our last babies together 5 years ago! Luke and Logan are starting Kindergarten and we are starting over with babies again!! This is my outfit that I'm in every other day! Stretchy pants from Marshalls and top from Forever 21!

So I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Life is upside down right now. I'm sick but blessed. I've had crazy cravings! Pickled beets with dill pickles, pepperoni and pink lemonade, etc. I am already gaining weight because I feel better when I have a full stomach. The smell of coffee makes me throw up...french fries too. I have been loving Italian Pie bread sticks, yum. I'm already stressed about weight gain (no really, you didn't see me preggo with the last 2...NOT PRETTY!) My hubby has crazy name suggestions right now. I go to bed at 8 pm everynight. I nap almost everyday. I take my Zofran every 8 hours and have to leave it by my bed to take before I get up for the day. My clothes already don't fit. I am starting to realize I am going to have another baby. I have SO much to do with this house! It is really out of control! Already started having weird dreams likes last pregnancy. Logan wants to talk about the baby every day, all day. The boys are sweet and protective of me. The brag about the new sibling coming! Jackson's teacher asked, so jackson, do you know if it's a boy or a girl? to which he replied, "um, I think God decides that one!" LOVE HIM!!! Just a random update! Have a great thursday!

I can't believe our summer is over! Where did that time go? My oldest started second grade today and was so excited!! I counted the minutes until he came home. He LOVED it! He is my social kid who missed his friends. He also thrives on schedules and routine, something I am not good at. When I picked him up he was eager to tell his teacher that I had a baby in my tummy and patted me softly. So sweet. Will get a picture uploaded soon. I've been throwing up all afternoon, so that can wait. sigh.

Been a pretty rough week but I have a few pics from a fancy dress up night and some others...will soon be documenting what i wore wednesday...maternity edition. can't believe I already can't suck in this belly!!

I absolutely LOVED wearing this dress! The Spanx underneath, not so much! I got so many compliments and it was so comfy! It was my amazing find at Marshall's after finding the same dress at Macy's and not wanting to pay full price for it!!

So, I'm pretty much a repeat of the last 2 pregnancies so far :( Throwing up everyday...dry heaving runs to the toilet just to gag for the heck of it. Still have a long way to go and am feeling so tired and discouraged. Have to try to fit school shopping in today sometime. I can't believe school starts monday!! Blah.

Hope today goes a little better. I keep telling myself, this will all be worth it, this too shall pass...just sucks feeling so lousy. Ok, I'm done complaining. Have a great day people!

We headed to Jackson, Mississippi this weekend for my hubby's 20 year high school reunion. It's funny, I always thought old people went to their 20th, and I don't feel that old! Anyway, it was good and bad. I got sick on the way there and ended up with a migraine and couldn't go the first night to the events planned. Gotta love hanging over the toilet and having a migraine. Slept good though and was able to go saturday. It was fun and I felt pretty good most of the night! (minus having to squeeze into those spanx!) Anyway, here are a few pics of us dressed up! We haven't dressed up for anything in forever and it was fun.

I was so thrilled to find a dress I loved! I tried it on at Macy's and couldn't bring myself to pay what they wanted, then stumbled on the exact dress at Marshalls for more than half off!! yeah me!

So this pregnancy thing is really great...except when it's not. I don't do pregnancy well at all. I was very sick with both of my other pregnancies and knew it was coming when I found out with this one. Last week I had just very little nausea, tolerable and able to function. The last 24 hours has hit hard. I went to bed at 8 last night and woke up sick today. Spent the morning throwing up until I could get my Zofran in me and some greasy food! (mcdonald's always helps me, thus the extreme weight gain the last 2 times around) I vowed early on that I would not blow up like a whale this time. It is so hard when the only thing that helps me feel better is a full stomach of really bad food. Would it be awful to mention that I had McDonald's for breakfast, Chick fil a for lunch and Waffle House for dinner? Well, I did, and am feeling ok right now. Hoping for a good night sleep so I can be ready to do it all over again tomorrow. I know I'm going to be excited eventually, but right now, it is so hard knowing that I was so sick for so long with the other 2. I am praying continually for strength and peace through this whole thing. It is all still a little shocking and I'm still adjusting to the idea.

We had planned a quick getaway before I knew I was preggo, so we went ahead and took the boys to the beach. I felt ok some of the time but know that I was a drag a lot. My poor hubby has so much to put up with! Anyway, here are a few pics from our quick trip!!

God is an amazing creator! Everyday I marvel at the things around me that show His glory!!

The detail, the color, the beauty, it is all so amazing to me!

And something that is even more amazing to me is that the One who created the flowers and beauty I love and enjoy so much in my gardens, is the same creator who know my thoughts, my desires, my hopes, and my dreams. He hears my prayers, spoken and felt deep in my heart. He gives us purpose, direction, and meaning in this crazy and hectic world. He is the author and perfecter of each of our lives if we so choose to place it in His hands. What a blessing to know He is in control...and an even bigger blessing to see when He decides to grant miracles to some of us!

I've written before about my two amazing boys and the true miracles that I feel they are. My "baby" is almost 6 and I can't believe where the time has gone. I also can't believe that in the last few weeks, God has revealed some more of His plan for me and for our family! As you may have read yesterday...God has decided to bless us with another miracle!! I am pregnant and still amazed at the thought!

It took several tests and 2 near panic attacks to adjust to the idea that my joy as a mother would be increased further as I get the opportunity to care for and love another precious human being. As I took that first pregnancy test, I immediately was given scripture in my heart...Psalm 139 flowed through my mind as tears of joy and fear rolled down my cheeks at once.

Then these words once again filled my heart...

Psalm 139 (New International Version)

1 O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.
5 You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?

WOW!! The last week has been crazy!!! Here are a few updates via my iphone camera and the great app, Instagram! I'm also linking up with Life Re Arranged, so join the fun!!!

I had the wonderful pleasure of spending the day with Jordan, a dear friend's daughter that I haven't seen in years!!! I'm her "ra-ra." I was a huge part of her life when she was born and the first few years and then distance just kept us apart. So good to reconnect, shop, and have some girl time!!

We got rain!!! 3 days of it!! FINALLY! everything looks so good now!

I will never get tired of looking at or capturing sunsets!! God sure is amazing!

...and speaking of God being amazing, this next Instagram has been waiting for the right timing! God has been working out His plan for us and...

...we have baby #3 on the way!!!!!

YEP! God has decided to bless us again and we are thrilled! (well, still a little shocked) but overjoyed that there will be 1 more Marble send from Heaven for us to love and nurture!!!

I am thrilled to be wearing shorts for the first time in years!! Loving being 22 pounds lighter! I couldn't believe when I went to the Gap and tried clothes on!! I bought a size 6!!! NEVER happened to me before! EVER!! The shorts were on sale at the Gap, Tank from Forever 21, Cami from Forever 21 also, Volitle zebra flip flops at Shoe Carnival but attention, they have them at Marshall's for $19.99!!! That is SO not what I paid!

The title of my blog is Marbles from Heaven because my boys are true miracles. We were told that we would not be able to conceive without help from modern infertility treatments. After TONS of prayer we conceived not one, but 2 babies with no help except from the Lord!! Jackson is my 7 year old and Logan is now 5 1/2. I really wish I had had a blog back then...will have to dust off the journals and prayer books!!

Baby #1

So with the first pregnancy I will never forget taking that first, then second, third, and yes, fourth pregnancy test!! We had a prescription for Clomid on the fridge. Had been to countless appointments for blood work and ultrasounds of my follicles. We had seen month after month of negative ovulation on the predictor kits and countless negative pregnancy tests. I would have boxes of pregnancy tests from the dollar store under my bathroom counter for the just in case I was late. I remember working several of my 12 hour night shifts in a row this particular week and watching the calendar for the what if month of maybe being late. My last shift of the week ended and I went home and collapsed in exhaustion. When I got up to pee at around noon something inside told me to take a pregnancy test. I got one out, you know the drill...set it aside and waited. Still so tired, I glanced at it, threw the negative test away and went back to bed. When I got up around 3 in the afternoon, I happened to look down in the trash and notice a faint blue line where I had not seen one before. My heart raced. Could it be?? I dug through the cabinet desperate to find another test...none. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't get a hold of my hubby who was in anesthesia school at the time and scheduled for a late night. I finally got him and told him to please go to the drug store on his way home...he was fine with that since we had been through this so many times before. He bought 2 double packs. I took, one, POSITIVE, started crying. Took the second, POSITIVE, crying turned to sobbing...3 and 4 were positive too!! Both my husband and I wept together as we couldn't believe God had given us a miracle!!! I started making phone calls that night...told the girls at work when I got there, we shouted from the rooftops because we had been trying for so long!! It was awesome!! My mom was in Louisiana and we were living in Kansas City so I called her right away and she started crying immediately! We rejoiced together on the phone!

So, Baby #2

After being blessed with one miracle, we never dreamed we would get 2! I'll never forget the week after Jackson's first birthday, I was still nursing and very irregular with my cycles. I just had a hunch and took a test, I couldn't believe when it was positive!! I wrote a poem to my hubby and waited until he came home from work. I asked him to check the mail and had put the poem in the pile. I set up a video camera and let him find the poem and he read it and was SHOCKED! It was priceless...really wish I could find that poem...Will keep looking!!

And so God is writing the story of our family...

Am I the only one?

OK, so Jackson lost a tooth this week. He was SO excited about the tooth fairy coming. (note to self...you're the tooth fairy!) The boys get ready for bed and my hubby gets called into work. Bummer. I get everyone to sleep, tooth tucked perfectly under pillow for tooth fairy! I check email, take a bath, wait for sleepiness to hit since I'm a wimp and hate going to bed with my hubby gone. I say to myself over and over "get the tooth!" Check on boys, still tossing a little, back to my room to putz a little more. Climb in bed to watch T.V..."go get the tooth". 2 am, Hubby comes in from hospital, I don't hear a sound. Fast forward to 6am...
Jackson comes dragging into my room, huge frown on his face, shoulders slumped, "mom" he says in barely a feeble whisper..."the tooth fairy forgot me" (insert tear rolling down cheek) HORROR gripped me immediately and I tried not to panic. "Sweetheart, (I said softly and lovingly) maybe she is really busy and knows you sleep late and just hasn't made it here yet! Climb in bed with mommy, it will be ok.) As I grab my cell phone and discretely 911 text my hubby who has crashed in his scrubs on the couch...TOOTHFAIRY ALERT!!!! MONEY IN MY PURSE IN THE CAR!!! ASAP!!!! all with one hand hanging over bed as I try to comfort my heartbroken 7 year old. Superhubby comes to the rescue ( I won't admit how many times he has!) and replaces tooth with 5 dollar bill. Jackson falls back to sleep until 7:30. When he wakes up I tell him to go check his pillow to which he replies, " I don't want to, she forgot me!" Ouch, another pang of mommy guilt. "Come on baby, I'll go with you!" Walking to his room he starts to say something as he reaches for his pillow..."it doesn't matter anyway, it's...(lifting the pillow) it's MAGIC!!! SHE CAME!!!! (insert jumping up and down and waking up little brother with astonishment!!) And I got 5 DOLLARS!!! (attempt to relieve some of the mommy guilt with inflation!) Proceed with a fabulous day of bragging and buying ice cream with the said tooth fairy money! Whew, that was close!!

Please tell me, I'm not the only one that has done this!!!

Before and After...

I have been on an amazing journey the last few months!! I've blogged before about starting up with Plexus Slim and being thrilled with my results. It has all kind of snowballed in the last month or 2 and I feeling great! The first picture is from last September when my hubby and I went to NYC for our anniversary. I don't know why I thought tying something around my waist would make me look better!! I'm embarrassed to see this and know that I felt horrible about myself a lot. I was also struggling severely with my IBS symptoms and it really seemed hopeless. I just wanted to feel better! Well, fast forward a few months and I'm amazed! Life has totally turned around for me. My daily routine consists of taking Plexus Slim and Slim Accelerator first thing in the morning. I run around like a crazy mom during the day keeping kids happy and myself sane. Every night I take 2 BioCleanse capsules and all is well. The pounds (that I couldn't drop after having my baby 5YEARS AGO!) have literally just melted away! I have not started going to the gym more, if at all, and still don't cook much. We go out to eat and I do enjoy myself, I'm just eating less. My sweet tooth is totally gone! I never imagined that I could be so satisfied with cantaloupe and grapes instead of cookies and brownies. It is amazing. My grand total as of this week is...21 pounds lost and 14.5 inches GONE!! I went from a size 12 and am now in mostly 8's and some 6's!!! I've never been a 6 in my entire life!!! I'm sleeping better and feeling awake and energized during the day. Life is great! Adding the BioCleanse to my routine has all but eliminated my IBS symptoms. I can't remember the last time I had painful bloating or cramps. My digestive system is working like it should and I don't have to avoid social settings for fear of an IBS flair up!! (if you have IBS you know what I'm talking about!! )

Another fabulous aspect of my journey with Plexus Worldwide is I am now 100% working from home!!! No more 12 hour night shifts at the hospital (maybe again one day). I can email, phone call, blog while the boys are at school or napping, and I don't have to miss soccer games and t-ball games!! I'm making some income as a result of this company and the products I sell and I couldn't be happier with how easy it is and how good I feel about helping people get healthy!! Happy Father's Day to the most amazing 2 men that I have in my life!! I have been blessed beyond measure! I love this picture of my dad because it embodies him! He is happy, outgoing, joyful, giving, and has one of the kindest heart of anyone I know! I am amazed at the love he has for his family and how totally unselfish he is ALWAYS! He has been an awesome example of a Godly man and father throughout the years! I am so proud and honored to have him as a dad! Happy Father's Day, dad. I love you more than I could ever express. Thank you for always being a role model to look up to. Thank you for your time, your compassion, your wisdom, your generosity, and your guidance! You are amazing and I'm blessed to call you dad! Lots of love from your favorite brown-eyed, brown-haired daughter!!

And then there is this guy! The amazing father of my children! When I got married, I hoped and dreamed that one day we would have a family and raise children together. I wished for a man that would be a great dad. I never in a million years would have imagined that my husband would be more amazing at fatherhood than I could ever hope or dream for. His children are the light in his world and he loves them more than anything (yes, sometimes i'm sure it's even more than me ;) He gives to these boys like there is no tomorrow and it melts my heart to watch the boy's eyes twinkle in delight when they are playing with their daddy. He could have worked 12 hours and had the worst day ever, and when he comes home, he drops everything and loves on his boys. He plays catch, reads them books, teaches them new things, helps them grow, nurtures them, and fills them up to the top with more love than I ever thought possible! I am so blessed that God placed such a wonderful man in my life to not only be my husband...but to be the best dad in the whole world to our two miracles. Thank you John for your love and all you do!!! Happy Father's Day! We love you!!!

It's hot! Time for baseball! We took the boys to a zephyers baseball game last week before it got too hot and they LOVED it! I didn't love the part where my kids almost got hit with a crazy fast foul ball that came inches from them and hit the seat in front of us! Scary! But we survived and had a blast (with grandpa too!) Logan made All-Stars so we have been to practice today and tomorrow and have a tournament this weekend! He is excited!! Happy Wednesday!!

I am just getting back from the most amazing weekend!! I had the opportunity to go to a convention with a company I work for and it was amazing! It is not very often that you find a business that gives the opportunity to work from home, sell amazing products you believe in, and help people in the process. I am so inspired and motivated! The convention was in New Orleans at the Hilton and I was so impressed with everything! the weekend was filled with great food, new friends, lots of learning, and even some tears (amazing testimonials that touched us all!) My hubby stayed home with the boys (such a blessing!) and my mom and I had a blast as we are gearing up to help as many people as possible get healthy!!!

WIWW...convention options

Ok, so I'm getting ready to go to my first ever business convention and I'm freaking out a little! What do I wear??? So I though I could enlist all of you fabulous WIWW fashion gals to HELP!

I have a few disclaimers first:

1. Sorry for the quality of pics, my 5 year old was the photographer!

2. Apparently I still adore black, white, and gray, and can't seem to buy color.

So, here we go...

Friday after noon there will be a registration/arrival time. Then there is a meet and greet with food and our first session. That is immediately followed by a riverboat cruise dinner that I won to meet the leaders of our company. So, do I start casual then run to the room and change for the dinner? Arrive in jeans? Are jeans ever appropriate for a convention? Or maybe the outfit above? shorts? Is a little black dress always a safe bet for an evening out? I really would love some of your thoughts or ideas!

Saturday will be a full day starting at 7am with a buffet breakfast and then an entire day of classes, sessions, meetings and fun. Do I go with the slacks and cardigan? A sundress and Volitile flip flops for comfort? or maybe these capri dress slacks and the striped sweater in case it's freezing in our meeting rooms?

Had to sneak a pic of this fabulous tank from Forever 21...by far one of my favorite places to shop! Don't think sequins would be good for a convention!

working my way through a crazy to do list! summer is here and we are having a blast. went to the movies this morning! yay for $3 movie day at our theater. how to train a dragon was just as good the 12th time! hung out with some friends and had fun. i'm gearing up and getting ready for my first ever business convention! i have been so thrilled to have the opportunity to work from home with plexus worldwide and am loving their products! i'm trying to think ahead to what i should wear and pack for a weekend in new orleans mingling with new friends and learning a ton of new ideas for my business! also getting some organizing and spring cleaning out of the way! the playroom is finally managable as i parted with 4 trash bags of junk and a whole car load of things to give away and donate!!

Favorite Vacation Spot

We have fallen in LOVE with the Portofino Island Resort in Pensacola Florida! It is truly a little piece of heaven and just a few hours away for us!! We just got back and had an awesome time. There are 5 towers of condos, a bay and gulf side, pools, restaurants, tennis courts, bike rentals, kyaks and fun galore!

We purchased the Adventure Pass this time and the boys had a blast with all that was included! These were inflatables on the bay side!!

I remember the day like it was yesterday...when they told me I wouldn't be able to have kids without infertility treatments. I cried. My first and only real dream I have had since I was a little girl, was to be a mommy. After I cried, I prayed. I prayed night and day for a blessing...for a miracle.

God heard me...God answered me...He knew the desires of my heart...He granted me not just one miracle, but two! I will cherish my boys always and know that they are a precious gift from the Lord. I am so truly blessed!! I can't imagine my life without my 2 angels!

A very special person that prayed those miracles into being, was MY mom. She is amazing. The most wonderful, servant-hearted woman I know! Thanks mom, for being an example of how to love, give, and serve. You are incredible and I am so grateful to have not only the best mom, but my best friend! I LOVE YOU more than I can ever say! Thank you!

So we had a wonderful weekend! Really busy but good. I worked friday night, then we had a neighborhood block party on saturday followed by a baseball game. After the game, the block party was still going on so we finished the evening with friends. We love our neighborhood so much!! The kids had a blast and slept great after a full day. Sunday we went to church ( me and the boys because john got called into work) and then to another party! Easter egg hunt and food with more neighbors. The weather was amazing, 70's and sunny! We are truly blessed and looking forward to spring break next week!!

I didn't think i was ready for bathing suit shopping, but Target has some really cute things in right now!! We have been having FABULOUS weather...so I've already been doing a lot of time at the pool!

Hello to all! I just wanted to take a minute to share some exciting info with you about how I'm getting healthy and feeling great!!! Today is my hubby's birthday. He is amazing and I am so blessed that God put him in my life! We will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary this year and I love him so much! Happy birthday baby! I love you more than I can ever say!

...and boy have I been busy!

6 dollars worth of fabric from Hobby Lobby and I made this bolster pillow to spice up my random bedding! LOVE how it turned out and only took me about an hour to do!

The mantel need some spring TLC. A few buck from Hobby Lobby and some thing I had in the attic and it is all ready for easter and spring!

LOVE the yellow pop of color this garden planter gives to the mantel and room!

My entire week last week was spent OUTSIDE!!! We've been having gorgeous weather here and I got all my planters done, gardens weeded, lawn mowed, weed and feed down, etc. This is my favorite thing to do!!

New confederate jasmine for the arbor. My last attempt didn't work out with the bougenvillia, hoping this will cover the arbor and look great this summer!

My front entry got a spruce up too! The ribbon around the door has lasted me season after season! The green is still there from christmas...took down the red and added yellow and purple for mardi gras, then just took down the purple for easter!!! really stretching the dollar on this wide mesh ribbon from hobby lobby!

A new rug in the living room, not crazy about it...sale at target. Trying to lighten the space up a bit.

Here is some awesome new fabric I just ordered to spruce up the couches! If only there were more hours in a day to get those made! Soon, very soon!!

And I finally started my gallery wall going up the stairs! Trying to convince the hubby that we need to paint at least a broad stripe as a backdrop to the frames. Hopefully soon! I had all of these frames laying around and put my favorite pictures up. Had to buy a few more so I can finish up the steps. Undecided about leaving just pictures or trying to mix it up with non picture things, maybe art? Letter monagram? Thoughts?

well, we've been so busy lately and our laptop is still crashed. It's actually been nice to not have the easy access. More time outside enjoying fabulous spring weather....planting flowers, soccer games, t-ball starting, etc. I am hoping to figure out why my iphone isn't synching and get an iphone week in pics up soon! happy hump day tomorrow!

Today you turn 7 years old! I really can't believe it and it makes me so sad to see how fast time flies!! You have grown into such an amazing boy. My heart flutters with pride at everything you have turned out to be! You are so smart. You are witty. You are quite the social kid who loves to talk to everyone and makes a friend with anyone! You adore school and I am so proud of your academic progress. You are an amazing big brother and so thoughtful to those around you. Please don't grown up so fast! Jackson had a Dr. Seuss birthday this year! It was great! My amazing twin sister made the cake and it stole the whole show! It was awesome!!! The party favors were cute goodie bags filled with swedish fish. I printed out the one fish, two fish book cover and taped them to the bags. They turned out SO cute!

we had the party at our local gym with a jumper and lots of space for the kids to run and jump and scream!

Against my better judgement, Logan had his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese' this year. It happened to be when Jackson was in the hospital so we had to kind of throw it together. Again my twin sister did an amazing cake and his buddies from school came. Quick and easy and they cleaned up the mess!!!

growing pains...

Logan has been complaining about leg pains. I think he is growing and maybe the pain in his legs is from how fast he is shooting up. He is catching his big brother! I tried to explain to him that sometimes things may hurt a little now, but it will be worth it when he is big and tall and all grown up. Then I got to thinking about the growing pains I'm experiencing in my own life right now. My heart has been so heavy the past week or so. God is moving, and speaking to my heart. I was led to a book that I started reading called Crazy Love by Francis Chan...it is rocking my world. I'm only on chapter 5 and am going slow on purpose. I'm trying to be still before God and listen to Him, listen to what He is trying to tell me, where he is leading. There has been pain involved. Emotional pain. Conviction pain. Growing pains. I don't want to be a lukewarm and content christian. I want to be who God wants me to be...just still trying to figure out who that is.

It was a gorgeous 60 degrees yesterday so we decided to hit our first parade of the Mardi Gras season! We got to ride our golf cart there since it was right by our house! So much fun! The boys had a blast! And the weather was AMAZING! So nice to soak up some sunshine!!
